"China" Quilt Late Summer Contest

Here are some of the stitched blocks & the Lecien fabric that I'm going to use.... thought they might help you come up with names! At the moment it seems that everybody wants it to be called "Grandma's China/Dishes" !! Remember to email us by September 12th with your entry at info@crabapplehillstudio.com

OMG!!! Meg, those are more beautiful than I even imagined them to be!! I love the clever way you made the embroidery look like a real china dish!!!

I'll have to think some more about names BUT, I still like the "Sunday Best" name someone posted in the other topic! ;0

They're so beautiful, Meg! It almost looks as though you're also using a water color pencil? Thanks for more peeks!
Cheers!

These are beautiful! How did you achieve the shaded look of the plates? This is a gorgeous and almost signature design for you, given your love of antique china. And the Lecien fabrics are perfect! Bravo! Well Done! Sorry I don't have a name-Grandmother's China Dishes says it all to me!

They are so beautiful, how about Porcelain Treasures.

I think you should call it 'Mama's China'.

Very sweet and nostalgic! I love your work!

Love the pretties, the china plates are so lovely. I just found a halloween freeebie from you from last year that I never stitched- a little boy in bed , being scred by a pumpkin head ghost. I was so glad to find it! thank you!

How about Grandmother's China Closet/Cupboard? They are so pretty, the yellow "dish" looks very familiar.

How about Vintage or Heirloom China?

Love the new designs.
I immediately had memories of my grandma when I saw this, so I think the pattern could be called "Tea with Grandma," or "Memories of Grandma."

Love the blocks. The name of "Tea memoirs(hope the spelling is correct)" comes to mind.

These are all so pretty. Are they colored with pastels? My name would be Tea with Mama. Thanks for the peek - I love them all.

Can't wait to see the whole thing, but am thinking "Grandmother's China Hutch"

Hi Meg, I love your patterns and have done several. I think "Memories of Nana" would be a suitable name. They are such pretty blocks. I am looking forward to the finished result.

Hi Meg,
These are beautiful. They remind me of Sunday dinners at grandma's. I have a cake plate with matching dessert plates that belong to my great grandmothe, so I think that they should be called "Grandma's Dessert Plates"

Maybe "Tea Party" would work.
