Hot off the Sewing Machine!!!

Anybody remember this???  It was our project for the Autumn Retreat!  I was going to design a quilt around it...other blocks too.  Well...I drew and drew and ended up with Calendula Patterdrip's Cottage.  This block just didn't fit in anymore!!  Sometimes that happens.  You've no idea how many things get abandoned altogether.  I found some 30's type blacks and oranges that just fit this PERFECTLY!!  I finished it a few minutes ago and just HAD to share!!!!  xoxox  Meg

Lovely, lovely..colors are great..do you use Cosmo threads for many of your stitches? I would like to order some and was wondering what top 10 colors are needed or recommended ..
I just received your Hocus Pocus which I will be working on this summer in time for the fall.

I'm so glad you like this design!! It will be released in May and if you're on our Email list you'll get a little newsletter when all the new things come out. Let's see....if I was going to get 10 Cosmo flosses to try out I think I'd get some of the "Seasons" variegated ones. They're all so pretty! Just get colors that you think you'd use...probably greens for leaves..maybe a couple pink/rose ones? I think I'd try one of the 2 strand spools too (they're just SOOOOooo nice!) OOoooh! You could get the black spools to do Hocuspocusville! Each spool is the equivilant of just over 3 skeins of floss. :o)
