We're getting the studio all dolled up (trying to make it look like a shop for the Shop Hop!
The hop starts Saturday the 9th and runs through Saturday the 16th.
We'll be open from 9am to 6pm Monday through Saturday...and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
We had a lot of fun the last time we took part in the shop hop and can't WAIT to see everybody who comes to visit this time!

These are two little patterns that I've designed for our shop "hoppers"!  The redwork one on the right is a free little pattern and there will be kits available to make them....first come/first served!  The one on the left also has a kit (very limited number of them) and the pattern will be available for purchase.  I'll have the redwork one on the website as a free pattern also as soon as it's completed.  The other one???  I'm kind of liking it!...........I think I'd like to think up something else to do with it......SO!  It won't be available yet except for the hoppers.  We also have the new Whitewash fabric!!!  It arrived during the Summer retreat.  We'll have it available during the shop hop before we put it up on the website.....OH!  I love it so much!!!  AND I love everybody at Lecien & Cosmo so much!! This is so much FUN!!!!!
I hope you'll be able to visit us during the hop!

Just received a fat quarter collection of the new fabric. I hope this collection becomes a basic and is available for a long time- otherwise, I might just have to buy bolts of each of them! These are beautiful.

Lecien is so nice! They're going to keep many of these fabrics around for awhile as part of a sort of perpetual line! Isn't that cool?? The red & white dots are part of the line too and we'll be selling kits after our shop hop. You'll be able to download the free "Bliss" pattern off the website's Downloadable Goodies after the shop hop also! If we run out of fabric...we'll be ordering more. I wish everybody could come visit during the shop hop. It's really hot outside, but it's cool in the studio!

I just discovered and bought 2 of your patterns. I fell in love with them while visiting a quilt shop in Estes Park in Colorado. Patchwork pumpkin and Snow days. I haven't embroidered for awhile so am looking forward to some fun. Does putting the muslim behind the fabric make if harder to embroider? When you say stitching fabric, can that be any quilt type fabric? I would love to be able to buy some of your fabric. Can't wait for you to have them available.

You can use any good quality quilting fabric for your stitching background fabric. Putting the muslin behind doesn't cause a problem. After the first few minutes (since you're not used to it) you won't even know it's there! Estes Park? You must have been at Maggie Maes!

That looks like so much fun! My family took an rv trip for the month of June and I did look up your address when we were in Washington. I was bummed to find out your weren't a store, for some reason I thought you were.
I think the get away weekends sound like such a good time, maybe if I can get away!
